Once the initial evaluation is completed our therapists will be able to personalize your treatment plan and with the use of advance techniques and technologies, partner with you to allow for success within the 8 visits over 90 days. Caveat: this does require increased compliance on the patient to actively participate in their recovery, by completing their home exercise program and communicating with the therapists any changes their condition.
Followup Question: But Paul, I had extensive surgery there is no way this plan will be able to cover this situation.
Again, the personalized treatment plans allow for post surgical pain control, facilitation of healing, normalized range of motion/flexibility, and strength progression while utilizing all our tools. This may include electrical stimulation units that are taken home to help pain control and muscle re-education and equipment loaners to make home exercise as successful as possible. Example (not all cases are the same): patient with total knee replacement treatment program completed in 7 visits resulting in 0/10 pain, knee flexion range of motion of 130 degrees and full knee extension. Patient was completing elliptical training, squats, and step-ups using 8 inch step without difficulty.
