Tami Jordan
Massage Therapist
LMT, NCTMB
A native of Wyoming, she holds a BA in Education from the University of Wyoming. After moving to Ann Arbor, MI while her husband completed his Master’s degree, she decided to pursue training in massage therapy. Graduating from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy’s 600 hour training course in 1999, she became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work and followed up with instructor training. Within a few months, she was teaching at AAIMT training massage therapy students and taking in all of the continuing education available.
Moving to Houston in 2000 for her husband’s job, she worked in the spa industry. While it was an enjoyable experience, she prefers the more clinical aspect of massage therapy. After taking some time off to start a family, Tami began working at Valeo PT when it opened in September 2007. She continues to learn so much from the fantastic staff and has enjoyed watching the business grow from the beginning.
Currently, Tami plans to complete her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the end of 2011. She looks forward to adding acupuncture in early 2012 to the other incredible services already offered by Valeo PT. She will also continue her THRIVING massage therapy practice.
Tami lives in the Pineloch community with her husband, Craig, and their two kids, Orion and Miranda.
